APP(ammonium polyphosphate) is mainly polymerized from monomeric diphosphorus pentaoxide(P2O5) and diammonium hydrogenorthophosphate(DAP)
APP is flame retardant using expansion mechanism.
APP decomposes ammonia gas and polyphosphoric acid at 275 ℃. Ammonia dilutes the oxygen concentration and at the same time expands and loosens the carbon layer to isolate heat.
APP is halogen free, environmental friendly.
