Today, the global demand for flame retardants has exceeded 2 million tons per year. The main part of this demand comes from the global plastics industry. Because all carbon-based materials are flammable and plastics are so widely used, it is necessary to reduce the risk of fire-related accidents.

 

Halogen-free flame retardants can be used in all types of polymers in electronics, construction, automotive and other industries. Polyolefin applications are expected to be the main field, followed by epoxy resins and unsaturated polyesters (UPE). Polyolefin is the most widely used polymer and has a wide range of applications in all industries. In various consumer-centric industries, the use of polyethylene and polypropylene is increasing. Polyethylene and polypropylene are the most widely used polymers. TF-241 mainly contains P and N, is a kind of halogen-free environmentally friendly compound flame retardant for polyolefin. It has been developed especially for various PP. Containing acid source, gas source and carbon source, TF-241 takes effect by char formation and intumescent mechanism.

Application

TF-241 is used in homopolymerization PP-H and copolymerization PP-B .  PP with 22% TF-241 can pass the tests of UL94 V-0(3.0mm) and GWIT 960℃. It is widely used in

flame retardant polyolefin like steam air heater and household appliances.

In dry and cool place, keeping out of moisture and sunshine, shelf life two years.
