Phosphorous PP Flame Retardant With Extremely Low Addition And Low Smoke
Introduction of product
TF-251 is a new type of environment-friendly flame retardants with P-N synergies, which is suitable for polyolefin , thermoplastic elastomer and so on. TF-251 have excellent char forming properties. When the flame retardant product is burning, the carbonized layer will be formed on the surface to isolate oxygen so that it can prevent flame spreading. The density of final product with TF-251 is low and low smoke will be produced when burning . Problems such as hydration and salinification will not emerge.

Applications
TF-251 may be used in poly-propylene, PP-copolymers, and PP-blends.
TF-251 shows improved thermal stability, which allows an approx. 30°C larger processing window. In compounding of TF-251, a reduced water uptake, less contamination of the water bath, and less soapiness of the polymer strength are observed.
