Phosphorous Environment-Friendly Wood Flame Retardant For Plywood Timbers Fibreboard
Ammonium polyphosphate decomposition temperature is greater than 250 ℃, with high thermal stability, so it is often used as a fire extinguishing agent and flame retardant. It can be formulated as a solution or dry powder type fire extinguishing agent, and can also be used for intumescent fire retardant coatings, intumescent flame retardant systems, etc.
In the 1960s and 1970s, countries such as the United States and Canada used liquid concentrated fertilizers to fight forest fires. Based on liquid concentrated fertilizer, Chemonics Industrial Company is formulated into forest fire extinguishing agents Fir-Trol-931, Fir-Trol-934 and Fir-Trol-936 etc. The liquid concentrated fertilizer has a low freezing point, strong adhesion to plants, wood and buildings, and a good surface coverage effect on the ground surface, with less dosage and environmental friendliness.
Using ammonium polyphosphate with a degree of polymerization greater than 50 as a dry powder fire extinguishing agent, its fire extinguishing efficiency and covering ability are better than general dry powder fire extinguishing agent. However, ammonium polyphosphate has not been promoted as a fire extinguishing agent, and the high cost is a major reason.
In addition, ammonium polyphosphate also has certain applications in cellulose matrix materials, copolymers, and ion conduction.
Application of TF-301:
1. The flame retardant treatment is carried out in aqueous solution to prepare 20%-25% phosphorus and nitrogen flame retardant, which can be used alone or together with other materials for the flame retardant treatment of textiles, paper, fiber, wood, etc.It can be autoclaved, impregnated or sprayed.After special treatment, 50% high concentration of flameproof liquid can be prepared to meet the flameproof requirements of special production.
2. It can also be used as a fire retardant for water-based fire extinguishers and wood varnishes.
3. It can also be used as binary compound fertilizer with high concentration and slow-release.
